Safaria, in full transparency

Privacy policy

Which data we use, why, who we share it with and how to exercise your rights.

Updated: 21 October 2026

Your account: name, email address and sign-in details, managed by our authentication provider.

Your trip requests: the chosen programme, who is travelling (number of adults and children), your phone number and any message to the organizer.

Your messages to support and the technical information the site needs to work (session, chosen language). Your favourites and your progress in the Hajj and Umrah guides stay on your device.

To pre-select your city and country in the booking form, your browser asks an approximate IP-based location service (ip-info.com). You can change these values, and they are only saved if you send your request.

To create and secure your account, pass your request to the organizer, keep you informed of its progress, answer your questions and improve the service. We never sell your data.

The organizer of the programme you request receives your name, your phone number and the make-up of your group, to handle your request.

Our technical providers (authentication, image hosting, email delivery) process it only on our behalf. Data may be hosted outside Morocco, with appropriate safeguards.

Your account is kept while it is active. Your requests and messages are kept as long as needed for the service and legal obligations, then deleted or anonymised.

You can access your data, correct it, object to its use or ask for its deletion, under Moroccan Law No. 09-08 and, if you live in the European Union, the GDPR. Write to us from the Support page.

You can also contact the data protection authority of your country: the CNDP in Morocco, the CNIL in France.

Exchanges are encrypted, access is limited to the people who need it and sensitive decisions are logged.
